Thomas R. Murphy, 79, of North Edwards, California went to heaven Saturday, March 2nd, 2024. He left this world at his assisted living facility, that he had grown to love, with one of his amazing caregivers by his side. His beautiful spirt is with his God who is embracing him with his everlasting love and peace, along with his wife Lucy, daughter Colleen, and sister Joanie. He is survived by sister Eileen Dowd, son Frank Murphy, daughters Kerry Stewart and Joanne Gergle, grandchildren Brittany Day (spouse Steve Day), Jimmy Miller, Jaclyn Gergle, Valerie Avitto, Kristen Miller, Alicia Harkness, Anthony Avitto, and Dillon Murphy, great-grandchildren Aiden Day, Breysan Day, Carleigh Day, Rogue Miller, Eli Harkness, and Aayla Harkness, and son-in-laws Vincent Avitto, Ian Stewart, and Kurt Gergle. Thomas Murphy was a well-respected Millwright, loving father and papa; his legacy is the humor and joy he would bring, and the stories he would share.
