My condolences to Vernon's family. While this is many years after Vernon's passing, I was a massage student of his in 2003. I was recently sharing with someone how influential Vernon was on my life and how I would love to tell him that. So here I am, sharing with whoever will read it. Vernon impacted my life and to this day I hear his voice during my massages, and in my life, the deep wisdom, grounded energy and loving papa talks that I will continue to carry with me for the rest of my life. Thanks to Vernon for being such a force in this life and sharing yourself in a way that will keep flowing long after your passing.

My condolences to Vernon's family. I knew him as a student and he was inspirational and life-changing. His voice has echoed in my head since 2005 when I was one of his massage therapy students. There, I met a nurse who encouraged me to pursue nursing, and I've been one since 2008. From his words to her nudge I have been able to overcome life's struggles. "God helps them who helps themselves." His words, discipline, and teachings have never left my brain. Rest in power sensei.

I had the honor of being one of Mr. Kendrick's students, moon's ago 2003. To this day is still hear many of his heart felt lectures... fatherly advice. "You have to do your tai chi chuan everyday"  Continue to Rest Sir. I still hope to make you prod. Prayers to your family and friends. 

To the family and friends of Vernon my condolences. I am Fausto Chagollan a classmate and a team mate at Cathedral High School. I was lucky  to play" basketball with Vernon on our freshman year of high school. He was a nice guy to be with yet his personalety changed once he was on the court. He was a great competitor and I was happy to have him on our Catherdral team and not on a opppents team. GO PHANTOMS, HAIL VERNON!!

I can't believe you are gone.. I just found out the news. Rest in peace Vern.. You will be forever missed. You have been one of my only teachers that believed in me. The reason I was able to open my own business is because of u. Thank you Vern..

Well, Vernon, I can't really see you resting, so much energy and enthusiasm in all you did.  But I do wish you and your family much peace.  You have a living legacy from your time teaching at IPSB and I hope there is some comfort in that for those who are missing you the most.  I trust that you are in that mo' better place.

Rest In Peace, Vernon. What a great teacher! His enthusiasm and commitment were extraordinary. We were lucky to know him and be taught by him. When he couldn't get us to look up when he wanted us to end, he would say, "Let the fact that you don't hear no more music.."..he didn't have to go further, we got it. :)  I'm so sorry for your loss. It's all of our loss, too.

Without Vernon, I wouldn't have the more rewarding life I have now.  My first IPSB teacher in 1998, he was so enthusiastic about what he was doing, teaching.  I think of him often when I'm working.  His influence on my life and career change is immeasurable.  May he rest in beautiful peace.

I am so sad to hear this news. I nearly knoocked my glasses off my face...My deepest condolenses to the entire Kendrick family. I was one of Vernons steudents at IPSB massage school and sweet toughness as a teacher. Wow I am at a loss for words....May God bless you all.

To the family of Vernon I am sorry for your loss. Vernon was and always will be a great and amazing man. He has helped me to understand and bring out my maximum potential and always challenged me to be the best I can in my career and life. He is one of the best teachers anyone could ask for always inspiring and enlightening those he touched and everyday in every session I do I still hear him sternly instruct me through my techniques and pressing my shoulders down and saying "massage is focus and intent" and much more.
So thank you Vernon! Thank you for your guidance, knowledge, wisdom and everything!
