Dear Ernie and family,

I loved Virginia even before I met her, because John loved her so much and talked about her. He had so much love and respect for her. When we went to California and I actually met her, I found that she was indeed as wonderful as John had been saying. In all the years I have continued to know her, she has proven to be even more incredible. What a wonderful person!

She was always so bubbly and charming, just delightful to be around and to talk with. Talented and capable and smart, she was able to do anything she attempted. We were so proud of her when she completed her Doctorate Degree.

Her Mother, Bernece, once told me that Ernie said “Virginia is my queen.” We decided that since he is married to this queen, then he is her king.

They have been loving and devoted parents and grandparents. The proof of how wonderful is apparent in each of you: Sherry, Nancy, Ann, David and your children. You are all treasures!

I am so grateful for the opportunity to know and love this sweet lady, and to know that our family  will be together forever.
