

William Harold Boarden was born in Wesson, Mississippi on Aug 09th, 1929 and was one of twelve children born to Loxie and Estelle Boarden. He was raised on a farm and also went to Jackson College in the late 1940’s then was drafted into the Army after the Army. William went to the Air Force and was stationed at Eglin Air Force Base. He met Leomie Marbley in the mid 1950’s they got married in Crestview, Florida 1959. They had 4 children, Sherry, Janice, Keith, and Gregory during those years he served in the Korean War. He was a faithful member of AME Methodist church and sung in the choir. He retired from the military in the early 1980’s and moved to Lancaster, CA. William attended Growing Valley Baptist Church which is now Transform Church where he also sung in the choir. His hobbies were fishing, Barbecuing, making homemade ice cream, and singing. He leaves behind his wife Leomie, 3 children, 10 grand kids, 28 great grandkids, 8 great great grandkids, son-in-law Curtis and daughter-in-law Cindy.
Visitation will be held at Joshua Memorial Park Mortuary, 808 East Lancaster Blvd, Lancaster, CA 93535, US, on March 30, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
A Funeral Service will be held at Transform Church, 44818 20th St W., Lancaster, CA 93536, US, on March 31, 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm.
A Graveside Service will be held at Antelope Valley Cemetery District, 111 E Lancaster Blvd, Lancaster, CA 93535, US, on March 31, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm.
