When I was going through a really rough patch in my life, my second daughter, third child, was getting baptized and even though Adam had been sick for a little while he still made the effort to come to Nampa to attend her baptism. This meant the world to me and made her feel so special.

Adam, being Adam, had to make a snide remark and said Nampa smelled like butt. (He wasn't wrong. The sugar beet factory puts off a bad smell during campaign and his hotel was right by it.)  My dad gave Selena a dollar and Adam, again being Adam, had to out do him by giving her $5.00. She said she thought he must be rich.

Adam always made everything fun. Although he was tired he got down on the floor and played horsey with Marshall, my youngest, for a minute.

That visit meant so much to all of us and I'm glad my kids have some memories of their  Uncle Adam.

She remembers Grandpa Bowler giving her a dollar and Adam, again being Adam, had to out do him so he gave her $5.00. She says she thought Uncle Adam must be really rich. 

This is just one of many dear memories of my brother. He always made everything fun.

Adam was my first brother-in-law and the older brother I never had. He has been in my life for over twenty years... Wow! That dates me. :) I remember this because he and Jenn got married on MY senior prom night! 

Being married into our family, and being the first at that, could not have been easy. With four sassy sister-in-laws, but a wonderful little brother-in-law, Adam accepted the challenge and fit right in. I remember our talks, which usually had some inappropriate jokes mixed in, every time I came home. We went shooting together and he took the time to help me every step of the way. A memory I will cherish always.

Adam, you are already so missed and I am so heartbroken. I will take care of my sister, nieces and nephew... I promise you that. Until we meet again big brother. Sure love you!



I went to law school with Adam.  What I remember most about Adam and our law school experience was how at the beginning of class he would go from person to person, introducing himself and otherwise just being friendly and kind.  He had such a great sense of humor, and was so personable.  I remember admiring how easily he could befriend people in class that neither of us had ever met.  We both hoped to practice law together, one day.  

I also loved how Adam would always speak German to me and greet me in German.  That continued well after law school as well.  He was always interested in how I was doing, and we shared with each other our own successes and failures in the practice of law.  He was a great listener, and always had helpful suggestions and offered me encouragement when I was struggling.  

Even though I know that some thought of Adam as aloof or not connected, I know from our conversations how connected he felt and how strengthened he was by his wife and children.  He spoke of them as a source of strength--especially his wife Jen.  It was helpful to me because at that time, sometimes I saw my own wife and children as a burden instead of a source of strength.  I will forever be indebted to him for helping me change my perspective and see my own family the way that I knew I should have.  

I didn't get to see him nearly as much in the last few years, but he was the type of friend that even if we hadn't spoken for months, once we did meet, it was like we had seen each other yesterday.  And he never gave me a hard time when I was the one to blame for not being able to meet and stay connected as well as we both would have liked.  

Adam and I shared a common bond as lawyers practicing in Southern Nevada, trading notes and experiences for more than a decade.  More than a few times, when I saw Adam outside Bankruptcy Court prior to the beginning of the Court's afternoon motion calendar, I asked Adam for any procedural insight he could offer me, because I do not practice in Bankruptcy Court frequently.  Without exception, Adam freely provided me with guidance and suggestions regarding my approach to a particular legal issue or judge.  Thank you, brother Adam!

Also, as fellow members for 15-plus years of the Peccole Ranch Ward of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Adam inspired us with his good humor and inspiration on a weekly basis.  Adam, may the Good Lord bless you and your family now in your time of need, even as you blessed us with your good spirit, humor and consideration.   Love, Don and Jennifer Bennion

Adam was the first kid to talk to me at school when I moved back to Las Vegas in 5th grade. I was rather shy and it meant a lot to me. He made me feel welcome and remained a loyal friend. I will miss him. 

I was assigned to work with Adam and was lucky enough to meet him on his recent visit to our Northern California office.    He was a pleasure to work with and I enjoyed getting to know him.   My deepest condolences to the Family.
