Agnes Mary Franzese

Agnes Mary Perinelli Franzese,95, passed away Friday, October 12, 2012. She was born August 11, 1917 in Renova, Pennsylvania, and lived in New York City until 1978 when she moved to Henderson Nevada. Everyone knew Agnes for her feisty spirit and loving warm nature. Her devotion to family and great Italian cooking are what those closest to her will remember. She enjoyed music, especially Frank Sinatra, loved to dance and play the slots, she was a big fan of old Hollywood movies and was very proud of her Italian heritage. Agnes was preceded in death by her husband, of 50 years, Marion Franzese; her parents, Salvatore and Rose Perinelli; grandson, Sebastian; great-granddaughter, Olivia; sister, Liza; and brother, Ned, Andy and John. She is survived by her daughters, Marion (Tom) Napier and Diane (Sebastian) Balle; son, Ronald (Holli) Franzese; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren, four grand-daughters-in-law; sister, Jenny; dear niece, Mercedes (Angelo). Visitation will be 4:30-8:30 p.m., Sunday, October 21, 2012 at Palm mortuary, 1600 South Jones Blvd. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m, Monday, October 22,2012 at Saint Peter's Church, 204 South Boulder Highway, with burial to follow at Davis Cemetery, 6200 South Eastern Ave. A special thank you to Emeritus Memory Care and Creekside Hospice. Donations may be made to Creekside Hospice.
