I meet Damu when we where  in the six grade. A childhood neighbor of most of my family, We became close. Absolutely beautiful spirit, So unbelievable I'm truly lost for words 🙏🏾 But God makes know mistakes, To his mother and siblings and the rest of the family, My deepest and heartfelt condolences 🙏🏾

Damu was once in the youth choir at Pentecostal Temple COGIC.  He always had a  smile for me.  Many times when he was trying to be funny making his little jokes all I had to do was look at him.  He would say,ok..ok..ok.. I know how to be, I am sorry,' and then we would continue with rehearsal.  Our prayers are with the family and know that we love you

Elementary, Middle and High-school and growing up in the same neighborhood is a long time to know someone.   My heart goes out to Damu's mother, siblings, and extended family and friends.   On behalf of the Lovely family, we truly are sorry for your loss.  May God grant you peace during this difficult time.

I’m heartbroken to have lost my childhood friend and high school classmate, Damu. From playground laughs to teenage dreams, we shared so many memories that shaped who I am. Damu had a spirit that lit up every room and a loyalty that ran deep. Losing him feels unreal, and the world is a little dimmer without him in it. Rest easy, my brother—you’ll never be forgotten.
