My heart goes with his family, my friend of 66 years will be missed but warmly remembered.

Goodbye, my friend.  You were a good husband while it lasted.   I wish I could be there for you but I know you are surrounded by many, many loved ones.  God bless you Margaet and say hi to everyone for me.

I was very honored to know Alan for almost 27years. He was a wonderful husband to my dearest friend Margaret and gave her a good life always treating her with respect and love which she most assuredly deserves. We got together often over the years and I loved his very dry humor and will miss him  and his corny jokes a lot.But my memories of him will never fade. Alan was a kind and gentle soul who enriched the lives of any one he knew.Rest in peace my dear friend till we meet again ,I look forward to that day .  Your friend for eternity.
