

Alfredo Javier Vicente was born in Mabini, Moncada, Tarlac Philippines. He was born and raised in Tarlac, Philippines. His parents were Rizalina & Valentine Vicente. Alfredo had twelve siblings: Janolino, Delia, Rolando, Loida, Loreno, Eprelita, Merlinda, Lorna, Reuel, Mac Julyven, Dozelyn & Marjulyn.
During Alfredo’s childhood he would like to play basketball and he also participated in Boy Scout/ Pathfinder. He attended Dr. Nicanor Reyes Memorial College and graduated in 1969. During his 1st year in college he earned his Bachelor Science of Commerce degree in Dr. Nicanor Reyes Memorial College. His favorite subject in college was mathematics. Alfredo’s hobbies are biking, paying basketball and don’t forget cooking. He mostly participated basketball in his high school years because that was his favorite sport. Even coming to the United States he would still play basketball. Alfredo enjoyed and loved basketball that he would play with his grandkids and his sons. Alfredo is a Seventh - day Adventist since birth. He would love to travel to Singapore and the Philippines. He had a pet dog and he had him for 10 years but did you know he also had chickens and ducks as his other pets.
On May 9, 1971 Alfredo had married Camila Paginag Lacuesta. They got mattied in Mabini Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Tarlac, Philippines. They have four children: Jennifer, Jonabel, Jerson Jake & James Alfred. He also has four grandchildren: Josh, Drake, Xander & James Marco. He worked as a security guard for twenty years.
On February 21, 2013 he had passed away in Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada. Cardiac arrest is the cause of his death. He had been in the hospital for about 3-4 weeks. He was living off of life support. The family had to make a big decision on either pulling the plug or putting him in a nursing home. As you know it was a hard decision for our family to choose the right decision because we did not want to let go of Alfredo Javier Vicente. Everyone had input their opinion on what they wanted for Alfredo Vicente but in the end we had chosen to pull the plug because his body was not taking any more medications and we did not want him to suffer anymore. As much as it hurts to see a loved one disappear we know his life is in god’s hands. Alfredo Vicente’s laid to rest in Palm Mortuary & Cemetery.
