Alice M. Johnson, 81, a hotel pantry worker, of Las Vegas, passed away Wednesday, March 31, 2010. She was born Nov. 20, 1928, in Natchez, Miss., and was a 59-year resident of Nevada. Alice is survived by her sons, Henry (Betty) Johnson Jr. and Joe Johnson; daughters, Merry (Don) Shumate, Delores Cooks, Norma Johnson and Clover Johnson; sons, Andre Johnson and Lester (Mia) Johnson; daughter, Renee Johnson; and son, Henry (Betty) Montgomery, all of Las Vegas; 28 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Visitation will be 1-7 p.m. Friday, April 9, at Palm Mortuary, 1325 S. Main St. Services will be at noon Saturday, April 10, at True Love Missionary Baptist Church, 1941 N. H St. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, 1500 Las Vegas Blvd. N
