Allen Lee Zimmerman, 66, of Las Vegas, passed away June 16, 2014. He was born May 1, 1948, in French Camp, CA and was a 22-year resident of Las Vegas. Allen was a retired teacher and served in the U.S. Army. He was an athlete and an avid sports fan. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. No matter what you needed, Allen was there for you. He was preceded in death by his parents. Allen is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years, Marji; daughters, Natasha (Chris) and Nicole; grandchildren Brooklyn, Kaitlynn, Jaiden, and Austen; siblings, Tom, Sharon, and Don; nieces, nephews, and cousins. A memorial will be held on Friday 6/20 at 9:30 a.m. at Living Grace Foursquare Church, 4025 N. Rancho Drive. There will also be a separate "Celebration of Life" in California in early August. The details for the California celebration are not yet confirmed at this time. We will always carry your memory in our hearts.
