Allison June Gigante, née Hubley, born June 19, 1962, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on February 28, 2026. The second of Arthur and Gloria Hubley’s three children, and little sister to her predeceased brother Art, Allison is survived by her husband Evan Wade, her son and daughter-in-law John and Erin Gigante, and her brother Russell Hubley.
Allison was a force of nature, possessed of a tremendous work ethic, an unbelievable capacity for love and generosity, and a laser-focused brilliance. A skilled attorney, Allison began her legal career in New York City, after, as a single mother, earning her college degree, then Juris Doctor, then a position at the prestigious firm Mound, Cotton, Wollan & Greengrass.
Later a proud 20-year resident of Las Vegas, many in the legal and business communities here will know and remember Allison from the near-decade she spent as the Assistant Operations Manager at the Clark County Department of Business License. In that role she used her legal expertise, deep commitment to ethics, and love of her community to help lead Clark County through several major transitions, including the introduction of legalized cannabis and her oversight and overhaul of a century of outdated codes and ordinances.
As a mother, as a wife and sister, and as a friend, she was loyal and protective, unconditionally generous and supportive, and unconditionally loving. She is, and will forever be, missed beyond words.
The family would like to request that anyone with memories, stories, or photos of Allison please share them on her memorial site at DignityMemorial.com.
