Alta Marie Lapriore

Alta Marie Lapriore, 86 a long-time resident of Las Vegas Nevada, passed away on October 19, 2022, at Harmon Rehabilitation Center, after a fall. She was the youngest of 7 children born November 29, 1935, in Pennsylvania to Carl and Celia Schultz. She was married to Rocco F. Lapriore Sr. up until his passing in May of 2008.

She is survived by her 4 children, Juanine Lapriore, Rocco F. Lapriore Jr., Art Hine and Robert Hine (Linda), her grandchildren, Marisa Garber (Nick), Rocco F. Lapriore III (Sara), Desire Hine, Ariana Retke (Sam), Spenser Lapriore, Anthony Lapriore, Alex Lapriore (Ashlee), Niccolas Kenourgios and 6 great grandchildren as well as many collogues and friends. She was predeceased by her loving husband Rocco and grandson Dimitrios Kenourigos.

Marie as she was known and Rocco headed west with 4 children from New Jersey in 1964 and until there car broke down. They could stay or try to move on Las Vegas . Marie originally worked for a local dress shop, and while working her way through college she progressed to a prestigious Accounting Firm, until she started her own bookkeeping company Universal Bookkeeping, and finally retiring just a few short years ago.

Marie loved reading crocheting and playing solitaire to pass the time, when she wasn’t enjoying time with her grandchildren and friends.

A service is planned for at 12:00 pm with a reception at 1:00pm and internment with her loving husband at a later date at Palm Downtown Mortuary and Cemetery 1325 N. Main Street, Las Vegas, NV 89101.
