She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Raymond Perrill, her parents Teresa and Frank Castorina, and her brothers Ross and Frank Castorina. Ann is survived by her four daughters, Barbara Kanouse, Susan Stordeur, Patricia Hoff and Sandra Stratton, 14 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.
Ann and Ray began their married life in Queens, New York, then moved to Long Island, New York in 1954. It was there that they raised their family. The couple moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in the late 70's, after Ray retired. Here they had many happy years together spending time with family here and in nearby California, and enjoying many of the sights and activities this area has to offer.
Ann held many different jobs in her lifetime. Graduating from dress design high school in New York during the Depression, she was called to work at a young age. She worked at different times for the Army Corps of Engineers and Encyclopedia Britannica, to name two.
While raising her family she sometimes worked part-time as a waitress. Her sewing skills were used to make beautiful clothes for her four girls and working on projects for her church, First United Methodist of Oceanside, New York. Many years later, she happily served in the area of hospitality at Community Church of Henderson. Ann will be greatly missed by her family and the many friends she got to know along her way.
Services will be held on June 21 at 10:00A.M. at Canyon Ridge Christian Church Chapel. 6200 W. Lone Mountain Rd. Las Vegas, Nevada 89103. A private committal service will be held at 1:00 P.M., at Bunker's Memory Gardens Memorial Park.
