Anne Marie De Marco Rehm
February 25, 1957 – June 19, 2020
Anne Marie De Marco Rehm, age 63, of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away on Friday June 19, 2020. Anne was born February 25, 1957 in Montclair, NJ.
Friday night (6/19) we sat with my mom and held her hand as she took her last breath... and the world lost an amazing soul. ⠀ My mom was the strongest person I've ever met, she fought so unbelievably hard... harder & longer than most would be able to bear. Even through all that pain and suffering, she never lost her "spice". Even at the very end you could see that feisty Jersey girl shining through, always making everyone around her laugh and smile. That was the one thing the cancer couldn't take from her. ⠀ She always had the BIGGEST heart- she worked for so many different charities and nonprofits
I remember when I was a kid, she worked ground level at Child Haven. She so badly wanted to make a difference in those kids lives, and every night she would come home crying wishing she could do more. She took pay cuts, raised money in the pursuit of making a real difference, and was even delivering groceries to the elderly every weekend, until a couple months ago when she got too sick. ⠀ She was an amazing Nonna and loved her grandbabies something fierce. And they ADORED her. She was the queen of Amazon and could online shop with the best of them. She looooved her fur babies (sometimes more than her actual babies, no qualms telling us that either 😂) ⠀ Like many mother daughter relationships, ours was not perfect. We had our good and bad, ups and downs, but in the end we loved each other and that's all that matters. ⠀ She taught me so much in life, lessons I will forever cherish... she taught me the importance of family, and giving back. She showed me what determination, grit, and hard work looks like. She taught me how to ask for a manager and not take crap from anyone. She taught me how to be tough. She passed down her love of cooking, and how to make the best damn Sunday Gravy (spaghetti & meatballs) you've ever tasted. She LOVED to have fun, was always the hostess with the mostess throwing the best parties. And like me, dogs & nature were her happy place. ⠀ She was just so so special & beautiful. We love you so much Mama, you will be forever missed and thought of. Give Cassandra, Carolyn, & Mamas a kiss for us.

Hi my name is Marion Russo. I heard today from my sister-in-law Vickie Russo about your mom.. my cousin- Anne Marie.
we used to play together when we were little. she would come over and have dinner and spend the night or I would go to her house in Clifton and do the same.. I don't remember that much .I
do remember laying on my bed listening to the first Beatle album with her!! and I remember she was a very picky eater .she would just sit there and move the food around on her plate and not eat anything. she was a cute little girl with blondish girls and bright blue eyes I always envied her hair because mine was so dark and straight. I lost track of her .I knew she went to Las Vegas but I had no idea she had been there all these years .I spent 30 years in New Jersey and then moved to California where I am now... My thoughts are with you I'm glad to know she had a nice family. .Marion Russo
