Auntie Nette,
I could never put into words, or explain the feeling of how deeply saddened I am to know that you left too soon. 
You will never know how much it means to have had you as family. You’re nothing less of AMAZING, the aunt everyone wants in every family and for that I am grateful because I had the chance to call you mine! My dear aunt, one who had one of the biggest hearts in the family, one that left this earth making sure no one will ever forget that—and who you are, one that will always be remembered in a way that happens to be so incredible—there are still no words to describe you!
If only we knew what god had planned, we could only wish it may have been easier for everyone you left behind, but he definitely needed you more. 
My heartbreaks every time I have to remember you’re no longer on earth because the pain I feel  is so real that I can’t even begin to imagine the reality of your very own husband, kids and grandkids’ pain.
I can go on and on about everything you have done for me from being my comfort when Matt and I had our very first big fallout, to the undying support you gave when my son had to go to LA. The late night texts to early morning convos and everything in between. I’m sure gonna miss it all but not as much as I will miss you auntie!!!
God is lucky to have you! I love you and you will be missed dearly!

Hi My Momma!

So I guess that today is the last day to write something here.  I'm sure you know but we are going wedding dress shopping this Saturday.  I really wish that you could be there for me.  I feel like if I just surround myself with my family that it won't be as hard. I will try my best not to cry and miss you on Saturday.  tbh I'm already failing at that. I'm here at work, thinking of you and crying. People keep telling me that you are happy for me. Behind all the hurt I know that that's true. None of this life stuff is easy when you're not here.  Know that I love you and that I miss you.  I'm pretty sure you could feel all our pain.  I love you my momma! God I miss you lady!

its been a while & yes its still hard, i don’t see it getting any easier 😣 . we just performed in washington 2 weeks ago, and i felt it. i knew you we’re there with us. i hope we’re making you proud. but i hate not having you here. my heart still hurts. i never knew i’d have to go through this at all. you deserved to live forever 😓 i miss making you laugh from the dumb jokes i’d make. i miss all the conversations you’d share about the past & things i used to do when i was younger. i miss the chamorro music you’d play on the weekends ! that was the cue to get up because we needed to clean. i wish i could still get those phone calls early in the morning asking if i wanted anything for breakfast and if so what. i swear it was so much easier with you here. by the way, its like a photo gallery at home ! from the moment we walk in theres a bunch of pictures of you. you got so many little areas of just things of you. but i just wanted to come on here & let you know that your forever on my mind. i miss & love you soo much, as i always say, fly high my angel 🥺🕊 until we meet again ❤️

Where do I begin with the memories? There's just too many. First of all, I'm truly sorry that I didn't get a chance to speak with you before your time on earth was done.  Please know that I love you and I will forever be grateful for all you've  done  for my family and I.  You have an amazing soul and you were like a 2nd mom to a lot of us. I remember all of us riding in the big brown van and going to manengon. That van was super loud we can hear it from a mile away. Lol. But those were good times auntie.  I will miss all the convos we used to have. I love you and rest easy.  I'll be sure to let my boys know of you and the impact you made in my life.

It's been almost 2 months since you left. The longest I went without speaking a word to you were just hours. So imagine me now. This is my ultimate test to date. Being able to survive and cope with your death. It's so hard at the moment and it's going to be hard for a while... but with your memory I will try. That's all I can do is try and take it one day at a time. 

I love and miss you terribly! But I know from our faith that one day I will get to hug and kiss you forever. 

Be good up there... and don't spend it all at ross!

As a Diosa , family is one of the most important things that keep our group strong. We are bonded by our families and we have all integrated our blood family with the family we have chosen. Since the inception of the House of Diosa our mothers have been the foundation of the values we hold dear and love and support we give each other as Diosa sisters and brothers. 

I remember our annual Mother’s Day event and seeing them out in the audience as we all came out dressed as the boys they once knew. Mom Annie most especially because she could not stop laughing. 

I remember going to family gatherings and  watching her put Mimi in her place. For those of you who don’t know no one can do that because Mimi will always have a bounce back reply except for when it came to Mom Annie. I have never seen someone who could really shut her up hahahahaha. 

But my most memorable moment with mom Annie was recently when she was here on Guam. We were sitting outside of Icon during Sissy’s liberation queen fundraiser both smoking and she reached over grabbed my hand and said “my girl...Whenever you or any of the Diosa need anything Dad and I will be there” I responded with “you already have been there so much for us over all these years...from accepting us, inviting us into your home and making us feel like family.” She looked at me smiled and just hugged me. That is a memory that I will forever cherish. 

This woman had the biggest heart with so much love to give. I will always remember and keep that within me. Thank you Mom Annie for caring for us as if we were your own. We love you.

I remember the minute I read of your passing, cousin. I couldn't believe what I just read, you never expect to hear such news. I instantly thought of the times we went to your house in Yona for family events. I miss those days. Then I smiled because I thought of you finally being with Jr., your dad and mom now. You did a wonderful job, your children are amazing, may memories bring comfort to them. Rest in peace cousin Annette.

 Auntie, I want you to know that I've enjoyed every moment and every convo we've both talked about while you've stayed with me for a short time. I was really surprised and honored that you  trusted me with everything you spoke to me about. I'll keep that between me and you till my last breath. Well, maybe one part actually made me laugh during your stay here. You and Uncle and the small arguments, but yet you both knew you guys are soulmates for life. All I could say was Aii Adai... They'll get over it. You guys eventually did all the time. I Love You, Auntie. My kids too, were very shocked to hear the news about your passing😢.  Please rest easy and send all my love to everyone up there especially my Baby Boy and my Daddy.

It's been 24 days since you took your last breath and it still doesn't feel real. Every time I go to Valine's house I expect to see you sitting on your chair, smoking, and on your phone. I still cry at night, although I try to be strong for you. I know that you would not want to see any of your kids cry. But you and daddy are everything to us and we don't know what a life w/out you in it looks like. We are all trying to navigate this new world, and it is not easy.  I guess what hurts when I think of you is that we took our time with you for granted.  We never could imagine that our time with you will be cut so short. We pictured you growing super old with Daddy. I'm so grateful to share that love and unbreakable bond with my siblings. We all are strong for each other. The love and bond we share is because of how you and Daddy raised us. I will forever be grateful to the both of you for that. Good - bye for now my Momma. I hope to see you in my dreams! I love you more than you'll ever know!

Hi mom-mom...I’ve known you for only two years and in those two years you greatly impacted my life. You’re that amazing. I remember every time I would drive up to the house I would always see you outside on the porch. For some reason, I still hope to see you there and when I don’t see you it’s just a reminder that you’re really gone. The last memory I had of you is when we were at my practice and everyone kept teasing me saying that they weren’t going to buy me food and you were laughing telling them to stop and that you would buy me food. Ever since the night you passed, I’ve kept a rosary right next to me when I sleep so I can feel connected to you and now I can’t sleep without it. I see you in my dreams and sometimes in public I see your face but when I look again it’s just a stranger. Is that you giving me signs that you’re watching over me ? I remember the night you passed so clear, I remember everyone’s faces and the sound of our cries. I remember waking up the next morning hoping it was just a nightmare. I’ll never forget that night. I’m not ready yet mom-mom because we only had two years together, that’s not enough time. I use to think it was selfish of God to take you away but I now understand that he took you out of pain. Everything I do, I do it for you. I try to wipe my tears and push myself to get up. But it’s so hard sometimes. I just hope i’m making you proud. Thank you for welcoming me with open arms & for treating me like your own. Thank you for raising the most amazing people in my life that I consider my family. I‘ll see you later mom-mom. <3

I’m in class sitting and reading all of people memories and you have changed so many people I wish I could go back in time to when I was in elementary school because I miss going to your house after school. I’m gonna wear it everyday we had so much memory I could name so many memories I had with you.  At your funeral father pete was talking about you and he said when my time has come he said at the gates of heaven you will be standing there also so when they were playing videos and in the video  your laughing at uncle Mimi and I’m gonna miss that laugh. the last time u heard you laugh was when we were visiting you when you were in the hospital. When my mom told me to plug the phone in more and I said I was gonna prank her and pretend I was getting shocked. and u just started laughing also  when I was trying to make devince arm have a cramp in his arm I  was “like devince gimme see your  arm and I rubbed it and then u punched and u just started laughing” we had to leave because your blood pressure was going up because I was making you laugh. you left so fast😢😢 and I wish that we had more time so I can tell you how much i love you ❤️I’m gonna miss your cooking Im gonna miss your corn beef fried rice im gald your not suffering no more I’m happy that u taught my mom how toMake your spam musibi because it’s so good. I know your watch down all of us and don’t worry about us we, we will Be okay. we will take care of papa.

 i just wanted to say thank you. you’ve went above and beyond the measures for this family. you’ve always made sure everyone had something to eat if they were hungry, you didn’t care if you had to cook different meals. everytime i step out of the house, i look at the front porch it’s like i could still feel your presence. there’s so many things that keep replaying in my head about you, so many things i wish i could’ve done. i’ve not once had to say “i wish a had a grandma who” because you did everything plus more. this has brought us so much pain, theres days where i sit in school & start thinking about you & i end up crying, or days where i just lay in your room trying to understand how real this is. i remember when i was little, id always take naps with you & before we would go to sleep wed say “see you later alligator after awhile crocodile” , i hope you know that i’ll forever cherish every memory we’ve made together. your unforgettable. but honestly i’m broken. theres times where i can’t speak. i hate that this is real, it had to end up this way. i know you may not be here with my physically, to where i can annoy you, make you mad, hug & kiss you. but i know you’re still here. when i was little you’d come over early in the morning before me and my brother went to school just to cook us breakfast, and pack us a lunch. and you continued to do it for my younger siblings as well i remember on christmas we were just talking about what scents we liked from bath & body works & how we liked the same one. i remember at your house i had my own toy area & if the boys touched it you’d get mad at them for me, i had so much barbies & you’d sit there and brush each and every one of there hair with me. i miss when you’d walk in my room asking me if your outfit looked good, or to do your hair.

Hi my Momma,
I keep telling myself that you are no longer in pain. I'm hoping that this little bit will help me deal with the fact that you are no longer here. I try my best to remember you as you were, and not how I saw you last.  Every time I close my eyes I can see you pulling off that oxygen mask and telling me that it's too tight. I did not know that those would be the last words you would ever say.  We had so much planned this year but, I guess God had other plans. Daddy wants me to go on with my plans but, it's hard to do so knowing that you won't walk me down the aisle with Daddy.  It's hard to continue to plan for that day when I started the planning with you.  What am I supposed to do with all the stuff we bought together?  Sometimes I forget that you are no longer with us. Sometimes I forget that I will no longer get phone calls from you. Sometimes I forget that I will never again kiss and hug you. And when I remember, I go back to that day and see you trying to pull your oxygen mask off and I break down.  I'll try better to remember you as the amazing mom you were. When I think of you, I'll remember how crazy you made me & Nanette go looking for your favorite bra, because you couldn't use another bra. And the look of your face when you had to tell us that you've been using it the whole time. I'll remember our early mornings at the flea market and going to yard sales...even though we both know that I only tagged along for the food. I'll even remember the time you locked me out of the house when I kept teasing you.  People keep saying that it's gonna be hard at first but I honestly don't see it ever getting easy. Please watch over Daddy because he must get used to not having you by his side. Please know that we’ll take care of him.  You have always said that before you die you want to know that your kids are settled in life.  Well Momma you can rest easy knowing that we are, and that you did an amazing job. I love you my loser Momma!

Although I didn't get the  opportunity to  know Mrs. Baza, just knowing her children most especially  Nanette I can only imagine  how wonderful  of a women, mother, wife, sister, and daughter she was, as they are a product  of the late Annie.
