Annie Ruth Flader, born on October 03, 1945, in Houston Texas, earned her angel wings on September 06, 2025, after passing away from natural causes. She was the child of Clem and Alta Fillipini and was raised in San Bernadino California.
Annie had an enormous giving soul taking in the less fortunate, donating to them and taking care of those in need. Annie was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. As a champion of the downtrodden and her journey on this earth was one marked by love, compassion, and unwavering faith in angels. Her passing has left a deep void in the hearts of her family and friends.
Her recycle and refuse team of Albert, James, and Roger will miss Annie, who looked after them with drinks during the hot Nevada summers and always brought joy to their routes. They had a near inseparable bond that only grew with time.
Before coming to Nevada, she was well-known as a beauty queen who delighted in fast cars like her yellow super bee, her hot wheel looking flame laden Mercedes, and for her speedy Corvettes. It was rumored that she raced her 2003 Anniversary Corvette all over the Nevada desert exceeding posted speed limits. Her cars were her escape, and she was delighted when she saw a Mclaren and all the changes to the Vettes over the years. Annie truly found happiness on the open road, even driving to Kentucky during the 50th Anniversary Corvette Caravan.
Those who knew Annie cherished her and celebrated her infectious smile, sense of humor and deep-rooted dedication in service to others. She has both an overwhelming and unwavering commitment to spreading love and kindness everywhere she went. Annie had an innate and rare gift for making others smile and laugh.
Celebrities knew her like the musician George Clinton, and Tom Landry, and many Dallas Cowboys players over the years. She was well known from her long dedication to the “Boys” and going to training camp every day in her minivan which was custom painted in Dallas colors. One of the last things she watched on TV was the Dallas game a few days ago. They lost, but it never dulled her love for them.
Visitation was private and held on Tuesday September 09, 2025, in Las Vegas Nevada. A future, small ceremony with friends and family is going to be held later when arrangements are finalized. Family and friends will be notified by her late husband and/or her children.
