He was born in California to Mary 'Sue' and Richard. He found his life partner, Shulen, later in life and they spent many happy years together.
Tony graduated from the University of Nevada Las Vegas with a degree in hospitality. He worked at several hotel casinos over the years; most recently at Resorts World Las Vegas where he enjoyed his co-workers and his job.
Tony was a loving and devoted father, brother, life partner and friend.
His passions in life were his family and friends, his cats, traveling, playing cornhole, attending Golden Knights games, football, hiking, cooking, reading and attending sporting events. He enjoyed running and competed in 5k's, 1/2 marathons and full marathons. He was an avid Star Wars fan and a dedicated and loyal Dallas Cowboy fan. Tony was very competitive, adventurous with food and travel and willing to try new things.
Tony had a mischievous and engaging smile and a hearty and joyous laugh. He was funny, but behind his quick wit and sarcasm was an always kind, empathetic and compassionate man who was willing to lend a helping hand.
Waiting for him in heaven is his mother, Sue; his grandparents, Marie and "Bing"; his aunt, Dorothy and uncle, "Lucky" and his uncle, Bud and aunt, Louise.
He left behind many people who love and will miss him including his sister, Maria; his sons, Nicholas and Andrew; his life partner, Shulen; his brother-in-law, Mike; his uncle Bob and aunt Bernice; his cousins, Shannon, Richard, Bobby, Chet, Steve and Lynn; Sophia and Victoria, to whom he was like a second dad; 'grandchildren', Albert and Felix and his beloved cats, Alfie and Cali Mae.
Tony will be loved and missed. It's difficult to find words to express the hole his passing has left in our family but we will find some comfort knowing he was doing what he loved, with the person he loved and we are grateful he spent time with his sister, brother-in-law and sons before his trip.
He may no longer be by our side, but he will always be on our minds and forever in our hearts.
Please join family and friends as we celebrate his life from 5pm-8pm, Friday, December 1, 2023 at Downtown Mortuary located at 1325 N Main St, Las Vegas, NV 89101.
