Anthony Watkins was born in Detroit, Michigan on April 6, 1962 to Percy Watkins and Rogerstene Raddler. The second oldest of their 6 kids. After graduating high school he briefly served in the US Army before moving to Colorado Springs, CO in June of 1982. Anthony gave himself the nickname “The Godfather” after one of his favorite movies of all time, the godfather. He was a huge movie buff and often would go to the theater for his alone time. He was a huge sports fan and enjoyed football, basketball, baseball, hockey and NASCAR. He was the most boisterous and chatty person in the room that could talk to anyone about anything. He was a one of a kind husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. We miss him everyday and can’t wait to reunite with him one day.

You'll have no fears in heaven, For it's filled with only light, And darkness never comes again not even in the night. You'll have no wants in heaven, For his hand will give you more Of all the priceless gifts you need, And the love you hunger for... You'll always smile in heaven, And your heart and soul will sing, As you spend forever in this home, And walk beside your king.
