Areopagita Yaranon Mapile “Titay”, 94, of North Las Vegas, Nevada, died Saturday, June 4, 2011. Areopagita was born July 9, 1916 in Aringay, La Union, Philippines. She was a homemaker. Areopagita was preceded in death by her son Bernie Mapile. She is survived by her five daughters: Mila Francisco and her husband Ver, Aurora Costa and her husband Bert, Mardi Mobo and her husband Tom, Glory Mapile, and Josie Mangalindan and her husband Arthur; one son: Johnny Mapile and his wife Josie; two sisters: Victoria Mapanao and Iluminada Narbonita; six grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. Visitations will be held from 3 pm to 7 pm on Thursday, June 9, 2011 and Friday, June 10, 2011 at Palm Mortuary - Northwest at 6701 North Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89131. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 11, 2011 at 11:00 am at Palm Mortuary - Northwest with burial to following at Palm Northwest Cemetery.
