

Arlene Ann Cavallone, born on April 9, 1936, in Chicago, Illinois, passed away peacefully on September 3, 2025, in Las Vegas, Nevada, surrounded by her loving family. She lived a remarkable life of 89 years that was filled with love, dedication, and an unyielding spirit.
Arlene was the cherished daughter of Joseph and Genevieve Slabosz, whose roots in the heart of Chicago instilled in her the values of hard work, perseverance, and community. Following those values, she dedicated her life to her family and the many people she met throughout her journey.
Arlene married Frank J. Cavallone, and together they shared 40 beautiful years of marriage. Their partnership was a testament to love and devotion, creating a nurturing home for their three children: Gina M. Lilly (Larry), Frank Cavallone (Ann), and Anthony Cavallone. Arlene poured her heart into raising her children, working tirelessly to ensure they received a quality education and strong moral foundation, which allowed all of them to pursue their dreams and thrive.
As a proud grandmother, Arlene found immeasurable joy in the lives of her grandchildren: Angela, Frank Jr., Colin, Shawn, Janice, and Cayden. She was also blessed with great-grandchildren, Frankie, Sonny, and Jessie, who brought her endless happiness. Her family was her world, and she made it a point to be a constant source of love, support, and guidance.
For 20 years, Arlene worked as a front desk worker at the Flamingo Hilton in Las Vegas, where she was known for her warm smile and exceptional customer service. She touched the lives of many guests and coworkers alike, leaving a lasting impression on all who were fortunate enough to cross her path.
A founding member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Las Vegas, Arlene’s faith was the cornerstone of her life. She actively participated in church activities and community outreach, demonstrating a deep commitment to her beliefs and her neighbors. Her legacy of service and compassion will be felt in the many lives she influenced.
Arlene was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frank. She is survived by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who will carry her spirit and values forward. Her unwavering dedication to her family, her community, and her faith will forever be remembered and cherished.

A memorial service for Arlene will be held Saturday, October 11, 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 1811 Pueblo Vista Dr, Las Vegas, NV 89128.
