Arlene Glass Timmons

Arlene Timmons (née Shuman) died on February 4, 2018 in Las Vegas, NV. She was 73. Mrs. Timmons was born on January 18,1945 in Philadelphia, PA to her parents, Simon and Ruth Shuman. She raised her two daughters in Philadelphia, PA, and in Columbia, MD, eventually moving permanently to Las Vegas with her husband, John Timmons, an Air Force veteran. Mrs. Timmons was a kind and caring mother and grandmother (Bubbie) who loved being with family and friends. She enjoyed going to the movies, traveling, and playing the slots at her favorite casinos. She was a beautiful woman who touched the lives of many and was a true friend to everyone that knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband, John. Mrs. Timmons is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sherri Glass and Jim Wentzel of Atlanta, GA; two grandchildren, Hugo and Mia Wentzel; her daughter and son-in-law, Rikki Bishop and Michael Lanum; and her brothers, Allan and Robert Shuman. A memorial service will take place on March 31 at 3 p.m. at the Jaycees Community Center in Las Vegas, NV. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Ms.Timmons’ life.
