Arthur James Wade, 65 of Pahrump and a Southern Nevada Native passed away suddenly on January 24, 2014 at Desert View Regional Medical Center. Arthur was born in Las Vegas on October 2, 1948 to his parents Jessie Hartwell and Willie Watkins. He enjoyed a prosperous career by his tenacity, hardworking nature, and skills in multiple industries; of his proudest careers he was a well-respected Chef in the Southern Nevada Area. Arthur was proud of his family including his son Tyrone, daughters Aretha and Cynthia, and his loving wife of 45 years Claudean. Visitation will be held Sunday, February 2, 2014 from 12-4pm at Palm Mortuary – Downtown, 1325 North Main Street, Las Vegas, NV 89048. Funeral Service will be held Monday, February 3, 2014 from 1-3pm at Palm Downtown, note Mr. Wade will lay in peaceful repose one hour (12-1pm) prior to the service in the chapel. A private family burial will be held at a later date at Palm Downtown Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Palm Downtown Mortuary, Las Vegas, NV.
