Barbara Ann Marcoux

Barbara Ann Marcoux's parents were Julia Orsini and Anthony Marrone. Barbara was raised in Las Vegas, NV. Barbara had two sisters, Pat and Linda. She was a calm and playful child who was adaptable to any situation. As she was growing up, Barbara developed into a person who enjoyed physically doing things, and she took pleasure in using her hands in order to create. Growing up, Barbara took part in dance. She loved to tap and dance. However, to Barbara, the most fun she had was simply playing, and spending time with friends. On March 26, 1976, Barbara exchanged wedding vows with her life partner Daniel Marcoux at the Circus Circus Wedding Chapel of Las Vegas, NV. Barbara was exceptionally sympathetic and compassionate when it came to her children. Barbara was blessed with two daughters, Julia Marie and Jennifer. She was also blessed with two grandchildren, Dakota and Jordan. Barbara enjoyed her leisure time by taking part in various hobbies. Her favorite pursuits were crosswords and shopping. Barbara was content to enjoy her hobbies alone but was also willing to share her interests with others. One of Barbara’s favorite pets was Archie, her dog. Her family was rounded out by her other dogs Pepper Aust and Mally. Barbara passed away on August 2, 2013 at Valley Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada. Barbara fought until the end after several abdominal surgeries in prior years. She is survived by her husband, Daniel; her sister, Linda ; her daughters, Julia and Jennifer; her two grandchildren, Dakota, Jordan and her nephew, Michael. Services were held at Palm Mortuary and Cemetery. Barbara was laid to rest in Palm Cemetery - Eternity Garden.
