Barry James Prevost

Barry James Prevost, 59, of Las Vegas, passed away on June 9, 2014. He was born in New Orleans, LA on August 23, 1954, to Joseph and Lelia Prevost. Barry retired from the United States Navy as a Chief Ship's Serviceman and saw action in Kuwait. During his career in the Navy, he awarded a Naval Achievement Medal with Star, a Good Conduct Medal with four Stars, a Navy/Marine Corps Overseas Ribbon with Star, a National Defense Service Medal with Star, a Sea Service Deployment Ribbon with three Stars, and a Southwest Asia Service Medal with Star. Barry was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Lelia Prevost; and two brothers, Joseph and Michael Prevost. He is survived by his wife, Katherine; three children, Tonyetta (Robert) Radke, Barry (Diana) Prevost II, and Kiara Prevost; sister, Marie Prevost; and eight grandchildren, Gavin Radke, Saya Radke, Asami Radke, Brienne Radke, Ayden Radke, Barry J Prevost III, Selene Prevost, and Bruce Prevost; and other family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at Palm Northwest Mortuary with a Committal Service to follow at Palm Northwest Cemetery both located at 6701 North Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89131.
