

Benito R. Guadagni Sr., a man of remarkable resilience, ingenuity, and unwavering determination, passed away peacefully on January 25th in Las Vegas, NV. Born in Tripoli, Libya, in 1935, to Nunzio and Carolina Guadagni, Benito's journey through life was a testament to his tenacity and entrepreneurial spirit.
At a young age, Benito and his family returned to their roots in Pomigliano d'Arco, in the Campania region of Italy. Early on, he discovered his passion for construction and became a skilled woodworker, honing his craft as a dedicated apprentice. Determined to explore new horizons, Benito, at the age of 20, embarked on a transformative journey to the United States, specifically to New York.
Starting as a woodworker, Benito swiftly climbed the ranks, eventually earning full membership in the construction union. Always driven by an entrepreneurial calling, he ventured into various business endeavors, owning a dry cleaning business, a small grocery store, and a popular dinner club.
In 1983, Benito made a significant move, relocating his family to San Diego, California, where for 33 years, he achieved great success as a restaurateur. His dedication, hard work, and commitment to quality earned him a reputation as a cornerstone of the local restaurant scene. After years of triumph, Benito retired in 2016 and relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada, where he continued to savor the joys of life.
Benito is survived by his loving wife Francesca, his children Nunzio, Luigi, Benito Jr., and Antonio, as well as his cherished grandchildren.
