Bennie G. Mirelez Jr., 62, of Las Vegas, passed away Aug. 16, 2010. He was a retired technical sergeant with the U.S. Air Force and served during the Vietnam War. Bennie was survived by his wife of 28 years, Amanda, son Bennie G. Mirelez III (Marie), daughter Melissa Tejeda (Ray), step-daughter Kim Casey Glowczeski (Paul) and five grandchildren - Bennie IV, Allysa, Mercedes, Alex and Miranda as well as one sister, Margaret Ramirez and his Mother, Elvira Mirelez. He was preceded in death by his father, Bennie g. Mirelez Sr and a sister, Martha Ann Wright and one nephew, Richard Wright. Bennie was loved deeply but God's love called him home where he peacefully awaits us to join him. Visitation will be from 9 a.m.-noon Friday, Aug. 20, at Palm Mortuary-Cheyenne. Burial will follow at 1:20 p.m. at Southern Nevada Veteran's Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Palm Mortuary- Cheyenne, Las Vegas, NV.
