A father is a man who loves protects, encourages and guides the family. The one who fixes things when they are broken. The hero of the family. A man who is patient kind and understanding. My dad was all these things and so much more. He was loved and will be deeply missed.

Your dad was the best ever. I arrived at Nellis Air Force Base in 1979. A brand new second lieutenant. Assigned to armament release  Billy was the chief Master Sergeant assigned over several of our units and he took me under his wing. I was so grateful. Boy did I need his experience, guidance and friendship! And laughter. He made sure I had all the tools I needed to get the job done. After about a year, when it was clear, the assigned job just was not fitting. I’ll never forget him telling me to show up the next day in my “blues”,prepared to go on an interview for another different job outside our squadron.  I did and he took me over to another unit that welcomed me. And gave me a great job and off I went. My life would have been very different if it were not for the trust, faith, and confidence that your father had in me. 
I have tears in my eyes, remembering his commanding presence, yes, so kind and considerate. He made a difference.

My dad lived life on his own terms. He was stern and funny, and would set the standard. For every other man I would meet in my life.
You gave us a wonderful childhood and taught us right from wrong. Instilled a strong work ethic into me and Michele. Showed us what a great Love story looked like with you and mom. You are now reunited with the love of your life, but we will sorely miss you here with us. I love you, Daddy

I was saddened to hear the passing of my former supervisor, Mr. Billy Key. When I retired from the USAF thirty five years ago, I was seeking a new career, I just happened to stop in at the Arville Transportation Bus Facility, thats when I was first introduced to Mr. Key. I will never forget that first time we met. He explained to me all the new changes that were coming and about the new maintenance facility off of Russell Road. He then gave me the tour of the maintenance shop. I was really impressed how nice and kind he was to explain everything to me. A few months went by and Billy was at my first interview with the school district. Mr. Key, thank you for taking the time that one day to talk to me and thank you so much for hiring me. I will always cherish those memories. To the family of Mr. Billy Key, please accept my deepest sympathies and condolences for your loss. God Bless!

My Dad, Joe Totusek, was great friends with Billy and his family. For many years they served together in the  Air Force. My condolences to the family. I know he will be missed.
