Cruz Blas-Medina traveled to Brooklyn, NY seeking a better life for her children. Blasina continued schooling in Brooklyn and later became a sales representative in which she retired from and moved to make a life in Las Vegas, Nevada. Blasina sought her religious beliefs in the Catholic Church. Blasina who would rather you call her Rosa loved watching t.v. and spanish novelas just as much as she loved eating sweets, and especially chocolate. Rosa cared about her family dearly despite her stubborn ways. Unfortunately Rosa faced challenges with her health leading to her death. We will always hold onto the good family memories we had with Rosa. With heavy hearts Rosa has left us to join her deceased parents Cruz Blas-Medina and Salvador Blas.
She leaves behind her beloved children: Lina, Angelina, Mario, Nancy; grandchildren: Cindy, Heriberto, Edgar, Sarah, Amanda, Ariel, Aryanna, Emily; great grandchildren; Cindy-Marie, Juan, Rihanna, Lucas, Hunter, Liam; great great grandchild: Ma'Lani; siblings: Anna, Ismael, Jose; son and daughter in laws: Heriberto, Robert, Queenie; nieces and nephews: Edward, Anthony, Annette, Jason, Marilyn, Junior, Carolyn, Christopher, Ileana, Michael, and a load of great nieces and nephews, extended family, and countless amount of friends who will forever carry on her memory.
Though she is no longer with us in body, her spirit, love, and legacy live on in all who knew and loved Rosa.
In Loving Memory of Our Wonderful Mom
Of all the special gifts in life however great or small, to have you as our mom was the greatest gift of all. May the winds of love blow softly and whisper in your ear, "We love and miss yo mom and wish that you were here." Deep in our hearts, your life is kept to love and cherish, not forget. No more tomorrows we can share but yesterdays are always there. A silent thought, a secret tear keeps your memory ever near in our hearts forever.
A Closing Prayer for Mom
God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be. So he put his arms around you and whispered, "Come with me." With tearful eyes we watched you and saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us he only takes the best.
In sincere appreciation the Blas family wishes to express sincere gratitude for all the acts of kindness, prayers, love, and support shown during this difficult time. Your compassion and presence are deeply appreciated.
