

Bobby Ray Carroll was born on November 22, 1948, in Delhi, Louisiana, the beloved son of Leo Carroll and Louise Fountain. He grew up in a large family as one of twelve children. He is survived by his siblings Leo Jr., Earline, Corene, Christine, Susan, Pamela, and Elois, and was preceded in death by his siblings George, Johnny, Geraldine, and Florene.
He moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1969. He met his life partner Virgina Elder in 1971. Their love reigned for 53 years creating two daughters; Denisha and Jacqueline, 8 grandchildren; Andre, Timaree, Shalese, Julian, Antwon, Alliyah, Tia, and Shelby, and 23 great grandchildren.
Bobby served in the United States Army from 1967 to 1969, where he served in the Vietnam war. He then started his career at Centel phone company for 20 years and State of Nevada Department of Transportation for 20 years. He was called home on June 6, 2026. He will be remembered as a loving son, brother, father, papa, and companion.
He had the ability to make the whole room laugh and the ability to offer you comfort even in his own pain. He is the glue to his family and a light to us all.

Visitation will be held at Palm Mortuary - Downtown, 1325 North Main St, Las Vegas, NV 89101, US, on June 27, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
A Funeral Service will take place at Palm Mortuary - Downtown, 1325 North Main St, Las Vegas, NV 89101, US, on June 28, 2026, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.
