Bobby Smith Rucker, 72, a retired US postal worker of Las Vegas, passed away August 17, 2011. He was born July 1, 1939 in Hartford, KY and had been a resident of Nevada. Bobby is survived by his loving wife Thelma, wonderful son Kirk (Kim) Rucker and adoring grandchildren Savannah and Trey. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 1, 2011 from 8:30 am to 10:30 am at Palm Mortuary 1600 South Jones Blvd. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday September 1, 2011 at 11:00 am at St. Joseph Husband of Mary Catholic Church with burial to follow at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
