Bradley Jerome Nelson

Born in Colorado, he grew up in Las Vegas and graduated from Rancho High School. He went on to obtain his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Washington University. He was a clinical instructor at the university but decided to complete his post graduate program in Endodontics at the Medical College of Virginia. He truly loved learning and sharing his knowledge with others.

Dr. Nelson practiced dentistry for 42 years. He was well respected in the dental community and served as the president of the Dental Society. Upon his retirement he donated his office equipment to help other practices.

During his life he had an adventurous spirit. He obtained his pilot’s license and loved flying his Pitts Special. He learned to scuba dive and traveled to Cuba, Belize and the Cayman Islands. He was an avid skier and bicycle enthusiast. He especially enjoyed introducing others to his passions.

He always said his greatest adventure began when he married Melissa, his wife of 35 years, and had his son, Christopher. He was a devoted father and never missed an opportunity to encourage, guide and be with his son.

Bradley leaves behind a legacy of laughter and love. He is survived by his wife, Melissa, his son, Christopher and his brother, Daniel.

He is preceded in death by his brother David (Sue deceased), sister, Laura Jean (Edward Thomas deceased) and his parents Stanley and Alberta Nelson.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to The Friends of Redrock, a place very dear to his heart.

Rest well, Brad, knowing that your spirit lives in the hearts of those whose lives you touched with your love and generosity.
