

Brian Davail James was born July 1, 1982, in Lake Providence, Louisiana to Darlene Beavers (James) and Chester Smith. At about three months of age, Brian relocated to Las Vegas, NV, with his mom. At the age of four, Brian accepted Christ and began to play the drums with the Youth Choir, at the Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church. Brian loved to play the drums almost as much as he loved his mom. He played for a number of recording artists and churches. He also established a band named “Pocket of Glory”. Brian touched so many lives in the church, music world, & workplace: Everywhere he went he left a lasting impression on the hearts of others.
Brian leaves to cherish his memories his parents, Darlene and Patrick Beavers, and Chester Smith; 3 brothers Patrick Beavers Jr., Leguin Beavers, & Jeremy Turner; Grandparents Pastor McKinley Hardmon Jr., Margaret Hardmon, and Zimmer Williams. 8 Aunts Carlotta Hardmon, & Patty Williams of Las Vegas, and Alice Nichols, Mattie Adams, Linda Ruth Berry, Maggie Williams, Margie Green and Debra Houston. 6 Uncles Bruce Hardmon & Willie Graham of Las Vegas, Harper Smith, Rocky Smith, & Willie Smith; And a host of extended relatives.
