You should be here today Brooklynn -- this isn't fair and I hate our world that we allow our country to have so many weapons that this happened to you.  If we lived somewhere else, you'd be 23 years old today and living your best life, but in the US we care more about guns than we do about amazing people like you!

The end of school and June 4th, when Brooklynn was taken from us 10 years ago.  I want to bring her back, I want gun legislation, I want people to wake up and change so this can't happen again.  We miss Brooklynn -- it's been 10 years and she would have been 23.  She should be here! My heart hurts so much for Darchel and Jake - it shouldn't have happened and the pain does not go away!

I still think about Brooklynn everyday. I was looking at some old pictures of us... she's just so beautiful. It still doesn't seem real.  Her smile and attitude could make anyone's day. She was one of the only people I could talk to about anything. My prayers go to all her family. She's watching down on all of  us. We love and miss you BrookieCookie.

Brooklynn was an amazing and beautiful person inside and out. It honestly still doesn't seem real and she is dearly missed. Sending all my blessings to her family. Stay strong!

Brooklynn was a great gymnast.  She didn't deserve to go.  She was a great friend to hang around, to laugh with, and to share feelings with.  She just didn't deserve to go!

Brooklynnwas my BESTFRIEND she was funny bright and always made everyone smile when she walked in the room. even though i had only met brooklynn from 6th grade aswell as this i will fairly miss her..in 6th grade for  P.E. she was the fastest girls to run the mile i always tried to keep up with her but i just couldnt.so on monday i had told her  in 8th grade im going to run at your pace brooklyn just looked at me and said that she knew i could do it..then we began to arm wrestle and she couldnt beat me with one hand so she put two hands it was a tough battle against her  but she never gave up and  thats one of the major things i will always remmeber brooklynn by is to never give up and believe in your self..i will miss you brooklynn my home girl..from now on and until i meet up with my home girl all of my basketball shorts shirts shoes will have my home girls name on it  BROOKLYNN MOHLER <3

There are no words to describe the heartache we're all feeling. Brooklynn was a star that was blazing, and that blaze was prematurely burned out here on Earth. The world seemed unsettled when the news of her death was delivered. I was always in awe of her; she was so witty, funny and beautiful. I couldn't have a conversation with her without laughing hysterically. I couldn't understand how such a young person could be so funny. As parents, we always think our children learn from us; however, with Brooklynn we all seemed to be learning from her. Her positive wisdom in her 13 years is what some of us, in adulthood, are still trying to figure out. Brooklynn was unlike any other and she will forever be missed. Until the day we meet again, Rest in Paradise little Angel.

Darchel, we are so sorry for you and your families loss.  We have a daughter the same age and can't even imagine how you are feeling.  Just remember you have a beautiful sweet angel looking down on you now.  You and your family are in our every thoughts and prayers.  xoxox

  Brooklynn Mae Mohler will be forever remembered as an upbeat, positive, respectful, ambitious, beautiful, little girl. She was very determined and strong willed like her mother and courageous and fearless like her father.
  We will hold many fond memories of our family dinners, birthdays, holidays, and trips to the cabin close to our hearts. Brooklynn was such a great role model for my children and I always knew they were in good hands under her watch and supervision. As her uncle, I couldn't be more proud of her accomplishments at such a young age. Brooklynn's legacy will always be in our hearts.

Brooklynn,
You will be missed by so many.  Your positive “I can and will” attitude was a gift (or a headache for parents sometimes).  Where you were different is you understood the meaning and always strived to be the best.   There are many people that didn't know you for who you were, but everyone knew  you were an inspiration.  There are several of the sayings around your room that speaks of your strength as a person.  A few of those sayings are on your photo's but here are a few that I thought others should read and words to live by:
1.  There are to many people out there that will tell you that you can't,  what you've got to do is turn around and say "WATCH ME"
2. Over thinking ruins you, ruins the situation, twist things around, makes you worry and just makes everything much worse than it actually is.
3. Keep your dreams alive.  Understand to achieve anything requires faith and belief in yourself, vision, hardwork, determination and dedication.

I want to say we will miss you and THANK YOU for always being a role model for my younger kids, a friend to my oldest and a dear friend, niece and crutch for your Aunt Daelyn, our world will not be the same without you but knowing we had 13 GREAT years with you will bring a smile to our face.

My daughter attended gym with your beautiful daughter and was apart of the memorial on Friday night. There are no words to help at this terrible time but we hope that  the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.
