

In 1959 she graduated from Rayen High School and in 1962 she graduated from St. Elizabeth Hospital School of Nursing. She was employed there for 1 year after graduating as an RN. She worked at Youngstown Osteopathic Hospital for 31 years until the hospital closed in 2000.
She was formally a resident of Boardman, Ohio for 34 years until moving to Andover in 2005.
She was a member of the Ohio Nurses Association and served as Treasurer of the local hospital unit at YOH. She was also an active member of the hospital negotiating team for several years as well as being an alumni of the St. Elizabeth Hospital School of Nursing.
She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church from birth until she moved to Andover, Ohio where she became a member of Our Lady of Victory Church (6 months) and later in Las Vegas, St. Joseph Husband of Mary (6 months).
Carol was an avid bowler, belonging to several leagues; including the YOH Bowling League, McGuffey Sunrisers, McGuffey Lady's League and the Knights of Italy Mixed Doubles League.
Carol is preceded in death by her daughter, Sharrie Lynn, who died shortly after birth; her beloved husband, Robert; sister, Mrs. Dorjeanne Gollan and both parents, Samuel and Elvira Paranzine.
She leaves behind to carry on her memory, her two sons, Robert M. and Joseph S. of Las Vegas, Nevada and two granddaughters; Kaleigh of Ohio and Rebekah of Texas.
