

Carol Ann Perry-White was born in Houston, Texas on August 3, 1940 to JD Woods and Celestine Perry. Carol, moved to Los Angeles at a young age with her mother and two sisters. She attended Dorsey and Los Angeles High Schools. Carol Attended Los Angeles Trade Technical College and obtained an associate’s degree in vocational nursing. Within a few years she went on to attend Santa Monica City College where she obtained a Degree in registered nursing.
Carol, returned back to Houston in 1982 where she met and married Charles White. In 2011 she moved to Las Vegas, Nevada to be closer to her son Steven. Carol, started her search for a church home and found a place to call home at Greater Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church where Pastor Welton Smith was the Pastor.
On January 12, 2020 God called his angel home to be with him. She was surrounded by her loving family to the end. She took her steps to join her father JD Woods, her mother Celestine Perry, sisters Gloria Cooks, Dorothy Jenkins, Jackie Woods, son Michael Hardaway and granddaughter Amber Morris.
Carol is survived by her son Steven Morris, her daughters Stephanie Hardaway and Kimberly Carter, daughter-In-Law JuJuan Morris. grandchildren: Glen Spiller Jr, Joseph Ellis, Brittani Carter, Shanese Morris, Marcus Carter, Markel Carter, William Morris, Kendra Carter, Edward Hamlin III, Lina Yang. great grandchildren: Adrien Frejo, Kemari Carter, Edward Hamlin IV, Amir Carter, Aerin Hamlin, Mason Morris and Niece Michelle Love.
