Carole Ruth Busch

Carole Ruth Busch of Las Vegas, NV passed away on March 23, 2015. Carole was born in South Holland, IL to Edward and Florence Danielson. Carole was a retired Registered Nurse from The University Medical Center Medical Library. Carole loved to travel to anywhere in the world and she had the picture albums to show her many friends. Her destinations ranged from Africa to the Arctic Circle. Her lust for travel began when her husband accepted an assignment to Saudi Arabia in 1962 with Trans World Airlines. Moving to Saudi Arabia with her family opened her eyes to a most interesting part of the world and there was no stopping her after that. Carole moved to Los Prados Golf Community with her family in 1987 and with her 3 sons away at college she took up the game of golf. She joined a ladies golf group called the “Niner’s”. Her association with these ladies generated a lifetime of enjoyment and friendship. Carole’s pride and joy was her family of which she had Duane, her husband of 61 years, three sons Lt Gen Andrew USAF (Tomi), Daniel (Karen) and Douglas (Sandra) of Las Vegas, and three granddaughters, Capt Jillian US Army, Capt Alyson USAF and Morgan of Las Vegas. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, March 30, 2015 at 12:00PM at Palm Northwest Mortuary, 6701 N Jones Blvd, followed by a celebration of life at the Los Prados Club House where you will have the opportunity to meet Carole’s wonderful family. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to All Saints Episcopal Church, 4201 W Washington Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89107
