Time is too slow for those who wait, Too swift for those who fear, Too long for those who grieve, Too short for those who rejoice, But for those who love, time is Eternity.

My memory of my sister Carrie is that she was always ready for a hug, to give and to receive. Her hugs were full - full of everything, joy, compassion, true friendship, commitment and love so much love. She will be missed until I see her again and can give her another hug.

I just had to let you know how very saddened I was to hear that Carrie has been taken away so soon.

I've been trying to remember when I first met Carrie. I know Donna and I have been friends since 7th grade so it's been a very long time since we first met. I have so many wonderful memories of Carrie, usually doing crazy fun stuff. The last couple of times I've seen her we were bowling and playing a crazy fun domino game. I'm so glad I have those memories of her.

As for all her friends and family, It's so very unfair that you have to go through this. Carrie was so very young and had so much more living to do....

I know that this last week or so has been terrible for her family and closest friends and that you are all probably still trying to come to terms with this new struggle to continue without her. I just want to express to you that Carrie would be very proud of how all of you are coming together and working through this new reality.

I hope that all of you will unite together to keep her memory alive. I know I will. I can't remember a time ever that I did not see Carrie laughing, so I'd like to think that she would want everyone to laugh and be silly and enjoy life just like she is still here and in a way she will still be here. That way she will still be a part of our lives every time we laugh until we cry Carrie will be there too.

So laugh those tears away and keep her close in your heart!

Carrie seemed very young for 45 and that makes her loss seem greater and more painful.

I will always think of her as a kid sister. I met her when she was 13 and always got along great with her. She was silly and funny and quirky and warm and was a pleasure to be around. She brightened up the lives of everyone who knew her, especially friends and family.

She exuded positivity and happiness even during the most stressful situations. She made everyone around her feel welcomed and important.

She was the best in everything she did. She was a great daughter, a fantastic sister, an amazing mother, a terrific wife, and the best friend anyone could hope for.

The world is a bit less wonderful without her in it. I still can't believe she is gone. I will miss her dearly and will never forget her.

My earliest memory of Carrie is her holding my gerbil by his tail and him hanging upside down while watching tv. She was around 2?
