Celia Gabaldon

Celia Gabaldon, our beautiful mother went home to the Lord on April 28, 2013. She was born in Farmington, New Mexico to the late Veronica and Christopher Trujillo on May 31, 1923. Celia was a resident of Las Vegas for 19 years. Previously, she lived in Bernalillo, New Mexico. She is a member of St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Gabaldon, her son of 6 months, Robert Gabaldon and son, Lewis Christopher Gabaldon, brother Ben Trujillo, sister Fidela Lucero and son-in-law, Luciano Lucero Jr. Celia is survived by her 3 daughters, Patricia Lucero of Albuquerque, NM, Geri (Robert) Meyer of Las Vegas, NV, Linda (Mark) Vinsko of NO. CA; 2 sons Joe L. (Judy) Gabaldon of Las Vegas, NV and Harold Gabaldon of Albuquerque, NM. She also leaves behind her brother, Desiderio (Helen) Trujillo of Pahrump, NV, 8 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be 2:30 – 6:00 pm on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at Palm Downtown Mortuary (1325 N. Main Street). Funeral Mass will be at 1:00 pm on Friday, May 3, 2013 at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church (1111 Michael Way).
