June 25, 1971 – September 16, 2026
With profound sadness and love, we remember Cesar Armamento Monzon, who passed away on September 16, 2026, at the age of 55 in his home city of Las Vegas, Nevada.
Born in the Philippines on June 25, 1971, Cesar filled the years of his early life with transient career choices across countries — from an auto shop in Manila, to an American cruise ship, to eventually fulfilling his dream of a long-term career in law enforcement. He medically retired in 2024 as a valued law enforcement officer and veteran of the United States.
Beyond his profession, Cesar’s most rewarding role was that of a husband and father, devoted to his wife, Marlene, as well as to his four children: Ally, JJ, CJ, and Aiya. He deeply loved animals, and dedicated much of his retired life to caring for his family’s dogs, Hachi and Saki.
Cesar was known amongst his loved ones for his sharp and funny personality, cooking skills, and disciplined nature. He could make people laugh uncontrollably, loved poking fun at everyone he met, and handed food out to everyone he could.
Cesar could become fast friends with almost anyone who had the pleasure of meeting him, and he shared his heart and opinions loudly and openly to anyone willing to listen.
Though his time with us was cut short, the love he gave, the numerous lessons he taught, the recipes he left behind, and the memories he lived will forever remain in the hearts of those who have had the chance to love him.
May he rest in eternal peace, and may God’s grace and comfort surround his family and loved ones during this time of profound loss.
