Charlene was born on November 18, 1943 in Portales, New Mexico. Her parents were Ulis and Corrine Deen. Charlene was raised in New Mexico. On August 19, 1961 Charlene exchanged wedding vows with Bill Groseclose at the At Bill's mother's house in Roswell, New Mexico. Charlene was blessed with two children, Mike and Kevin. She was also blessed with three grandchildren, Kevin Jr, Kurtis and Krystle. Charlene was a lover of animals and cherished her pets. One of Charlene’s favorites was a Yorkie named Jake. They were best friends for 15 years. Her family was rounded out by her four dogs Pepper, Fritz, Bunny and Georgie.
Charlene passed away on April 21, 2013 at her home in Las Vegas, Nevada. Charlene fought a long battle against COPD. She is survived by two sisters Barbara and Loreta, brother Ferrell, son Mike and his partner Kevin, son Kevin and daughter-in-law Corina, and grandchildren Kevin Jr, Kurtis and Krystle. Services were held at Palm Northwest Mortuary in Las Vegas, Nevada.
