Charles Philip Anderson
December 17, 1951 – March 31, 2021
We were blessed to know and love Charles. Charles had a smile that would light up a room. He is best remembered for his love of dancing, cooking, and his indominable work ethic. Whenever Charles was faced with a new project or task, he took it on enthusiastically. Charles dedicated his professional life to the betterment of people and his community. He served an unknown amount of people and helped them find the right path in life. He was selfless, compassionate, and empathetic. We could all only hope to leave this world a bit brighter, as Charles did. We will miss Charles every day. Until we meet again.
I'm Free- Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free I'm following the path God has laid out you see I took His hand when I heard Him call I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day To laugh, to love, to work, to play. Tasks left undone must stay that way I found that peace at the close of the day.
If my parting has left a void Then fill it with remembered joy. A friendship shared, a laugh a kiss Oh yes, these things I too, will miss.
Be not burdened with times of sorrow I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My life's been full, I savored much Good friends, good times, a loved one's touch.
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief Don't lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your hearts and peace to thee God wanted me now; He set me free. -Unknown

So sorry to hear this news! I worked with Charles at SNAMHS and will always remember how helpful he was when I first started there. He always protected his co-workers in the office and clients in the community. My thoughts and prayers to his family and close friends.

I was very sad to hear the news. Charles was a coworker when we both worked together at Southern Nevada Adult Mental Health. He was the person I would go to for advice when I just started working for the agency. Charles helped many clients and was dedicated to his job. My prayers and condolences for the family. May Charles rest in peace.
