Charles Richard Barber Jr.

Charles Richard Barber Jr. (affectionately known as Chuck) was born on July 5, 1973, to the union of Charles Richard Barber Sr. and Catherine June Barber in Detroit, Michigan. They moved to Las Vegas, NV, with their family the same year.

Throughout his life, Chuck retained his humor and kind heart, determined to find his purpose. He often said, "My life is not meant to be lived like everybody else's." Even in the peaks and valleys that followed, he remained a proud father of his children.

His memories are left with his mother, Catherine June Buford, Father, Charles Richard Barber Sr., brothers, Ezester (Lenny) L. Holmes and George (Pete) Taylor. Sisters: Sharon A. Rhodes, Karen L. Barber, and Cheryl Y. James. His children: Charles Richard Barber III, Colleen Gaither Barber, Cristiana Barber, Jarryn Barber(Jay), Trayvion Barber (Tray), Chloe Barber. Grandchildren; Sebastian Emmett Barber, Liliana Emily Barber, Sophia Warlita Spitzer, Daphne Jade Spitzer, and Carson William Barber and a host of other family and friends.

A visitation for Charles will be held Thursday, August 3, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Palm Downtown Mortuary, 1325 North Main St, Las Vegas, NV 89101, followed by a funeral service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
