He love to be called Charlie. When Charlie walked into the room, those in his company felt energy, an enthusiastic spontaneity. This was just one example of who Charlie was and how he impacted those around him. Charlie was a clever and gregarious person who always sought out the finest attributes in other people. It was as if Charlie wanted to share all of their experiences, revel in their lives and celebrate their discoveries. Charlie was tireless and had boundless enthusiasm that would serve him well throughout his life.
Charlie was born on September 11, 1926 in Trenton, NJ. He was the son of Peter and Olga Demos. Quick witted and always ready with an answer or a good joke, he grew up to be quite a smart and humorous person. His friends and family understood well that Charlie was always in pursuit of life’s endless peace, love, health, happiness, and freedom with liberty and justice for all.
Charlie was raised with one sibling, Angelo.
Charlie was very accepting and supportive of his Greek American family. Growing up, Charlie was an honest, ethical, and optimistic person. These traits served Charlie well in his adult life and, along with his wit, outgoing personality, and understanding of others, drew the admiration of many who knew him.
