Charles "Chuck" Hughes

Chuck was born on May 27, 1955 to Charles Edward and Ruby Edythe Hughes in Fayetteville, Arkansas. They moved to Las Vegas when he was 2. He went to Rancho High School and graduated from Vo-tech.

He was a Teamster in Local 631 and worked for Las Vegas Storage and Transfer and the convention industry. He married Rebecca Ozuna Hughes November 3, 1990 and they were married for 28 years. Chuck loved golfing, camping, boating, working with wood and making things or repairing them. Chuck also loved to bar-b-que and to strum his guitar. Most of all, he loved hanging out with his grandchildren and dog.

He is preceded in death by his father Charles Edward Hughes, Mother Ruby Edythe Kantal, Brother Michael Edward Hughes and Sister Patricia Gayle Hughes. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Rebecca, sons Aaron Leichty, Mark Leichty, Kurt Leichty, Frank Fitzpatrick and daughter Charlie Karin Hughes. Chuck had 8 grandchildren, Ozzie, Rolando, Alex, Noah, Paige, Jax, Chase and Lydia. He loved his dog Goliath, who misses him dearly.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00PM Friday, April 26, 2019 with Viewing from 12:00-2:00PM. A Reception will follow the Burial at Palm Northwest Mortuary and Cemetery, 6701 N Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, Nevada 89131.
