Charles Edward Washington, Sr., age 72, passed away in his home on October 28, 2013. He was born April 22, 1941 in Mc Comb, Mississippi. He moved to Las Vegas in 2001 from California. He worked for Schlumberger Well Services in Ventura, California. He was a family man; he enjoyed family activities, and enjoyed golfing and baseball. He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Washington of 51 years; his daughters, Catherene N. Netherly and Regina L. Washington; his son, Charles E. Washington Jr.; his grandchildren, Rashawn M. McLaughlin, Jessica L. Smith, Jonathan L. Smith Jr., Alayje Netherly, Anthony Netherly Jr., C.J. Gorham Jr, Malaya D.C. Washington, and Dominic C. Washington; and his 9 great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind his sisters, Betty Washington, Helen Williams, and Diane Moore; his brother, Monroe Washington; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He will be truly missed by his family. No services are scheduled.
