Clara Jane Hauser

Clara Jane Hauser (nee Vollman), 94, of Green Valley in Henderson, died on July 6th, 2014 at a care center in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was the daughter of Wesley Paul and Hilda Elizabeth Vollman, born on October 5, 1919 in Warren County, Pennsylvania. Clara and her husband, Carl W. Hauser, were married April 18, 1942. She was a loving mother, housewife, and a factory worker while living in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. She relocated with her husband and family in 1959 to Las Vegas from Linden, Pennsylvania. She was an active member in the Red Rock Baptist Church of Las Vegas along with her husband, who was a long-standing deacon.

Ms. Hauser was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carl W. Hauser, Sr.; sister, Thelma Hauser; and brother, Paul W. Vollman of Pennsylvania. She is survived by her son and his wife, Carl W. Hauser, Jr. and Patricia A. Sileo of South Huntington, New York; and daughter and her husband, Linda Rae and Jim McDonell of Henderson, Nevada. A viewing will be held on Friday, July 11 from 10-11am with services following, both at Palm South Jones Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89146. The burial will follow at 1:20 P.M. at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City, NV 89005.
