Clay led quite the adventurous life. Born in Albany, GA into a Christian missionary family, he spent a good portion of his childhood in Brazil while his family was on missions spreading the Word of God. He later enjoyed his teenage years in Florida, which he grew to love dearly.
Clay had a bit of a rebellious side to him, which prompted him to join the Navy - an experience from which he would reap the benefits for years to come. After an honorable discharge from the Navy, Clay worked as a chef's apprentice and learned how to cook all the delicious foods his family and friends would later enjoy. In business, Clay found his calling as a consultant for oil and gas investments, among many other projects he was passionate about. Through his business relations, he was able to travel overseas and experience many different cultures, always bringing souvenirs back to the states that would fill his home with beauty, mystery, and wonder.
Clay settled down in Las Vegas, where he and Patricia Renshaw raised three children: Brittany, Clay Jr, and Jennifer. In his later years, he especially enjoyed bringing magic to the holidays and cooking for his children and grandchildren, who always looked forward to those special times. He was such a loving person and will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched.
