Connie Jo Allen, 54, of Las Vegas, took her last breath here on Earth and her first breath in Heaven April 25, 2013. She was born in Ames, Iowa, June 9, 1958. We were blessed to have Connie as a wife, sister, sister-in-law, niece, aunt and friend. She loved all domestic animals. She was preceded in death by her parents, David Eugene Larson and Joann Dee Larson; aunts and uncles; and cousins. Connie is survived by her beloved husband, Carl Lynn Allen; brother, Kent David Larson; mother-in-law, Elinor Russell; many sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; aunts and uncles; and nieces and nephews. Her day of celebration of life will be at 9 a.m., Sunday, May 5, at Palm Memorial Park, 6701 N. Jones, Las Vegas.
