Consuelo Badillo Rivera

Consuelo Badillo Rivera was born May 5, 1920 in Gomez Palacio, Durango Mexico to the late Pedro Badillo and Francisca Lujan of Gomez Palacio, Durango Mexico. She was the oldest of eight children. She departed this life on June 24, 2016 at Summerlin Medical Center in Las Vegas NV. She was married to Eduardo Rivera on February 19, 1956 who preceded her in death in 1990. In her early years she was an accountant in a major department store in Cd. Juarez, Chihuahua Mexico for many years until she married. From their union, they had three children. Shortly after their marriage, they moved to Las Vegas NV. Her life was dedicated to her husband, children, family, gardening, crocheting, knitting, reading. The greatest satisfaction she had in her life was spending time with her grandchildren. She was a devoted Mother, Wife, Grandmother, God Mother, Sister, Aunt and Friend who was respected and loved by many. She leaves her children; Virginia Gaige of Woodbridge VA, Sara Schroerlucke of Las Vegas NV and Edward Rivera of Las Vegas NV. Three grandchildren, Robert Gaige of Los Angeles CA, Michael Gaige from Ashburn VA, and David Schroerlucke of Las Vegas NV. Two brothers, Tony Badillo of Las Vegas NV and Luis Badillo of El Paso TX. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends in all parts of the US and Mexico. Preceding her in death are two brothers, Pedro Badillo and Valentin Badillo and three sisters, Rafaela Leon of Guadalajara, Jalisco Mexico, Maria Eugenia Badillo of El Paso TX and Maria Luisa Martinez of Las Vegas NV.
